The third vintage of our late harvested Preamble wine continues on the theme of crystalline purity, capturing the essence of the growing season in the glass. The long, cool 2019 vintage brings a lighter palate, a core of zingy freshness showing as ripe lime zest and curiously passionfruit appearing for the first time. The wines underwent alcoholic fermentation and a full malolactic fermentation largely in oak casks and barrels, then were bottled with 36 months on lees. This artisanal wine shows the concentration of our Pinot Noir balanced by fresher, lighter Chardonnay in the cool 2019 vintage. Drink now to 2028.
An early budburst followed by a long, cool and dry season combined to yield a perfect harvest late in October. We created base wines using Pinot Noir grapes from our east facing winery bank and Chardonnays on our southeast facing hillside, each with over 100 days on the vine.
Richer, more unctuous fruit follows, familiar yellow apple, nectarine and pineapple, a product of grapes given plenty of time on the vine. The gentle oak cask influence of vanilla, honey and delicate spice linger on the palate with a creaminess that persists.
Created from small quantities of the intense pinot noir on the Winery Bank Vineyard, together with perfectly ripe chardonnay from the Meadow Woods Vineyard, this artisanal wine showcases a luxuriant and rich rosé from an outstanding pinot noir vintage.
Enjoyed at Alain Ducasse with their iconic lobster medallions, chicken quenelles, Périgord truffles and homemade semolina pasta.
Magnums of our Signature Rosé are also now available here.
Early flowering and a warm, lengthy season produced the perfectly ripened pinot to create a delicate and vibrant rosé. Grapes with over 100 days on the vine were gently bunch pressed, base wines created without a malolactic fermentation and softened in traditional oak casks, then aged for 18 months on lees to yield a beautiful array of floral aromas and summer fruit flavours from this exceptional English chalk valley vineyard.
An array of delicate yet concentrated wild strawberries and raspberries lifts from the glass. Time under cork has preserved the wine’s elegance while deepening the red fruit character, evolving into complex notes of hibiscus and pomegranate on the palate. A beautifully delicate wine now showing impressive complexity and concentration.
Rich and sumptuous to pair easily with food and bring luxuriant fruit flavours to the fore in all manner of deserts. Perfect for Christmas by the fire or an early evening aperitif with friends.
A rare, very late harvested selection of our Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from right across our south-facing vineyard parcels. Only made in small quantities this wine reveals a luxuriant complexity from a beautiful, long, and cool ripening vintage.
“Much more recognisably champagne-like than the Preambles. Really sophisticated. Good grip on the palate and a dry but not drying finish. Long. Good mousse.” – Jancis Robinson 2022 (www.jancisrobinson.com)
A unique wine from the long and cool 2019 vintage created from grapes picked on the third and final pass of the steep south facing hillside in the final days of October. Using these grapes with over 100 days on the vine, the base wines were created with a full malolactic fermentation, fermented and aged in traditional oak casks and stainless steel, and then kept for 30 months on lees. This wine is a uniquely rich and savoury expression from our chalk valley vineyards, showing the complexity achieved by late harvested grapes.
Biscuity shortbread aromas lead into layers of yellow fruit on the nose, from ripe citrus to yellow apple, Mirabelle plum and pineapple. A rich creamy palate reminds you of the perfect lemon tart.
The intense umami notes in this wine make it the perfect accompaniment to roasted Cotswold chicken, asparagus and morel mushrooms.
An early budburst followed by a long, cool and dry season combined to yield a perfect harvest late in October. We created base wines using grapes from our Hilltop single parcel with over 100 days on the vine. This artisanal wine will age beautifully and reveals the enormous potential of our exceptional English chalk valley terroir, as it evolves to fully express the fresh 2019 vintage.
The wines underwent alcoholic fermentation and a full malolactic fermentation in traditional oak cask, and then were kept for 36 months on lees.
Sushi and seared sashimi. This wine also pairs beautifully with salted cod, crispy shallots and dill.
Intense layers of ripe lemon zest, limes and yuzu fill the palate balanced by a sea spray minerality and nutty, umami finish. This wine has tremendous potential to age over the coming decades.
A beautiful ‘first-pass’ selection of only the very ripest grapes from our first to ripen Pinot Noir and Chardonnays. With 40 months on the lees, fermentation in wood, and a partial-malo this is a unique sparkling finished in zero dosage form. Notes of yellow plums and apricots, ripe red apple skins and raspberries, with a salinity and touches of baking spices on the finish.
An early budburst, peak flowering on 20th June, and an excellent ripening season combined to yield a perfect harvest in early October. Using these grapes with over 100 days on the vine, the base wines were created with a partial malolactic fermentation, fermented and aged in traditional oak casks and stainless steel with extended bâttonage, and then kept for 40 months on lees. This wine shows what is possible from the hallmark 2018 vintage in England with purity of fruit and a fresh mineral expression.
Bright aromatics of ripe lemon and grapefruit zest, crisp apple and freshly baked sweet pastry. Fine boned and crystalline on the palate with layers of citrus and yellow plum. A pleasing savoury edge of salty minerality, mace and baking spice, lingers on the palate.
Best enjoyed with seafood, from succulent shellfish such as langoustine and lobster to hearty monkfish.
An early budburst, peak flowering on 20th June, and an excellent ripening season combined to yield a perfect harvest in mid October. This wine was created from our north facing Chardonnay parcels with over 100 days on the vine, which excelled in this record breaking vintage.
The base wines were created in a combination of traditional oak casks and stainless steel without malolactic fermentation, they were held back after blending and softened using gentle oak exposure and regular batonnage, followed by spending 48 months on the lees after bottling.
In the glass, a beautiful golden hue indicates a Blanc de Blancs with great concentration. The wine is aromatically intense, equally balanced in fruit and spice. The fruit is exotic with a unique, ripe kiwi note shining through alongside lemon balm and a juicy yet tangy orange note. The baking spice aromas are delicate and sweet with a hint of nougat creaminess. This is perhaps the most powerful Blanc de Blancs produced by Hundred Hills to date, tamed and brought to balance by long and careful aging.
Perfect with delicate seafood dishes like oysters, scallops, or sashimi. To keep things very English, our Blanc de Blancs No.2 also pairs brilliantly with fish and chips — its bright acidity and citrus finesse cut beautifully through the richness of the dish, creating a fresh, balanced finish.
Created from the intense Pinot Noir on the Hillside Vineyard with 40% late harvested, ripe Chardonnay from the Winery Vineyard, this artisanal wine showcases our Pinot Noirs from the exceptional 2018 vintage.
Early flowering and a warm, lengthy season produced the perfectly ripened Pinot to create our signature vibrant rosé style.
Fresh aromas of red berries lift from the glass, layered with a hint of citrus zest. On the palate, vivid blood orange leads, alongside bright notes of pink grapefruit and rhubarb with a mineral edge. A precise, energetic style with vibrant tension and a long, refreshing finish.
This citrus-led rosé pairs beautifully with a range of Mediterranean flavours — think Niçoise salads or even the richer depths of a bouillabaisse. For a simpler pairing, briny cheeses like feta work wonderfully too, allowing the wine’s delicate notes to shine through.
The 2019 vintage began early, with shoots well developed by the start of May. The summer saw some of the highest temperatures to date in the vineyards, then a long, cool and dry autumn allowed the grapes to fully ripen late into October. This wine was created entirely from north and north-east facing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The base wines were created with a malolactic fermentation to find balance and texture, fermented and aged in a combination of traditional oak casks for Chardonnay and stainless steel for Pinot Noir, each undergoing battonage.
The wine was bottled and spent 24 months aging on lees before disgorgement.
A fascinating and delicious rosé, the second vintage release from Hundred Hills from the long and cool growing season of 2019. Late harvested Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a long hangtime have produced fruit with a confit nature, the recognisable strawberry notes are ever so slightly jammy whilst the red apple, cranberry, peach and cherry notes have a satisfying roasted quality, like that of a delicious clafoutis. Generous and creamy in texture but with plenty of bright fruit freshness.
Red fruit desserts pair beautifully with this wine — think strawberries and cream, pavlovas, or even a traditional English trifle. The wine’s bright acidity cuts through the richness of the cream, while its vibrant fruit notes mirror and enhance the flavours of the dish.
A beautiful ‘first-pass’ selection of only the very ripest grapes from our first to ripen Pinot Noir and Chardonnays. With 40 months on the lees, fermentation in wood, and a partial-malo this is a unique sparkling finished in extra brut form. Notes of yellow plums and apricots, ripe red apple skins and raspberries, with a salinity and touches of baking spices on the finish.

The touch of extra-brut dosage transforms this wine, revealing a juiciness to the orchard and stone fruits, a caramelised aroma to the pastry notes, reminiscent of a fresh apple pie, and a broad weight on the palate, softening the structured edges of it’s twin, the Zero Dosage produced in very small quantities.
Best enjoyed with seafood and a variety of artisanal English cheeses.
From high up in the stunning Stonor Valley, this single parcel ‘bled’ rosé showcases our most delicate grapes selected from our south-facing Hillside parcel of Pinot Noir using an old fashioned and now rare approach to rosé making.

Exclusively available to Friends of Hundred Hills
With peak flowering on the 7th July followed by a long cool season, the 2021 vintage enabled us to harvest late in the year as acidity dropped and complexity increased across the vineyard. Our Rosé de Saignée was created from carefully selected grapes within our south-facing Hillside parcel of Pinot Noir picked on the 27th of October with 112 days on the vine. After being destemmed and crushed, the grapes were macerated for 8 hours with regular pump-overs, then bled off the skins into small French oak barrels for fermentation. The wine was then bottled without filtering or fining and disgorged in March 2024.
The wine presents a light, bright claret colour with a subtle copper edge. On the nose there are hints of hedgerow berries, rhubarb and hibiscus present in each of our rosé wines, but it continues to unfold leading to sumac and dried cranberries, pomegranate and Amarena cherries, all wrapped in a warming blanket of gentle baking spices. This is a unique wine, best served at around 10 degrees Celsius and served in a Riedel Performance Pinot Noir glass and enjoyed alongside dishes such as smoked wild mallard with cherries, and home-cured bresaola.
Pairs beautifully with the soft organic cheeses produced locally at Nettlebed Creamery. Barbecued lobster and red pepper skewers. A variety of smoked and cured meats, through to crispy pork belly and duck breast.
A rare single parcel, all Pinot Noir sparkling, from our Hillside vineyard. The long, dry 2019 vintage allowed over 110 days on the vine with rich, macerated summer berries and spices able to shine through in the wine as a result.
“Fairly rich nose. Really mouth-filling. Round and orangey and super-clean. Complete. Very much a gastro-wine. Just lovely already and reaches every nook and cranny on the palate.”

The inaugural Hundred Hills Blanc de Noirs from the long and cool 2019 vintage created from a single parcel of Pinot Noir grapes picked in late October. Using these grapes with over 100 days on the vine, the base wines were created with a full malolactic fermentation, fermented and aged in stainless steel, and then kept for 30 months on lees. This critically acclaimed wine captures the rich layers of flavour, aroma and texture present in our late harvested Pinot Noir grapes, balanced by a core of fresh acidity.
A core of vibrant acidity draws together the generous, round palate of ripe Pinot Noir. Intense layers of red fruit; macerated strawberry, raspberries, red apple and Morello cherries lead into deeper layers of blood orange, ripe nectarine and juicy flat peaches with cream.
Pairs perfectly with artisan charcuterie, such as saucisson where the sweet, fattiness is cut with the round acidity of our 2019 Blanc de Noirs, with the palate of rich stone fruits that hold up to the savoury saltiness.
Rich aromas of juicy pears and cooked quince give way to a soft, luxuriant mousse with ripe stone fruits, tangerine notes and hints of almond patisserie. This is a wine that captures in the glass all of the complex flavours and aromas we seek in the vineyard on the final days of harvest. Drink 2022-2026.
The worthy 2018 successor to the hugely successful 2017 vintage wine of the same name, recommended by Jancis Robinson in the FT as one of her Christmas selections.
